Energia Karpaty Zachodnie is pleased to announce that Dr. David A. Winter, CEO and Executive Chairman of its parent company, Horizon Petroleum Ltd (TSXV: HPL), will present at the upcoming EnerCom Denver – The Energy Investment Conference in Denver, Colorado.
The presentation, titled "Building a Leading European Natural Gas Company," outlines Horizon’s strategic roadmap to develop domestic conventional natural gas resources in southern Poland to support European energy security and Poland's transition from coal.
Key Presentation Highlights:
- Anchor Polish Assets: Horizon holds a 100% operated interest across 1,130 km² in the Bielsko-Biała (Lachowice) and Cieszyn concessions in the Carpathian foreland basin.
- Lachowice Gas Field: Discovered, de-risked resource containing >1 TCF gas-in-place, with 197 Bcfe of 2P net reserves plus risked 2C contingent resources (estimated US$519 million before-tax NPV10).
- Phase 1 Operations Underway: Backed by the completed CAD$10MM financing, wellsite operations and the re-entry, workover, and production testing of the Lachowice-7 well commenced in July 2026, targeting initial gas production and cash flow in Q3 2027.
- Full-Field Growth Path: A phased development strategy targeting a ramp-up to 40+ MMscf/d and over US$100 million/year in net cash flow by 2029–2030 through a dedicated gas processing plant and pipeline tie-in.
- Regional Upside: Additional low-cost running room in the Cieszyn concession, alongside a broader European growth and M&A pipeline.
