Who are we?
Energia Karpaty Zachodnie is a company which, by decision of the Minister of Climate and Environment on November 19, 2024, obtained two concessions for exploration and exploitation of oil and natural gas deposits and extraction of oil and natural gas. They are: the concession in the Bielsko-Biała area, no. 32/2009/Ł and the concession in the Cieszyn area, no. 69/2009/Ł.
Our Investors
Our sole owner is the company Horizon-Petroleum Ltd., a Canadian company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange Venture (TSXV: HPL), the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FRA:HPM) and Tradegate (Tradegate: HPM).
Horizon's goal is to build a significant, medium-sized natural gas exploration company to meet Europe's ever-growing energy demand and thereby increase its energy security. The planned actions aim to achieve these objectives through the implementation of several key strategic priorities.

Founder and Director of Canacol Energy Ltd. and Founder, prior CEO and Director of Excelsior Energy Limited, an oil sands-focused exploration company.
BSc (Hons) in Geology from the University of London, an MSc in Structural Geology and Rock Mechanics from Imperial College, University of London and a PhD in Structural Geology from Edinburgh University.
